Tillandsia xerographica, 12” leaves, 10” diameter. This specimen is showing signs of going into bud. Xerographica blooms for a plant of this size may be a foot tall and last for months. Blooms spikes are beautiful rainbow of colors with purple tubular flowers. Pups (baby plants) will form at the base. To produce another thick and large xerographica, do not remove pups from the mother for as long as you can stand it!
